Habotai or Habutai silk is one of the most basic plain weaves. Silk habotai is often referred as “China silk” and it is an excellent choice for making a lining for garments, sleeping bags, etc. And also, our silk habotai is as light and airy as chiffon without being sheer, and is the most popular silk for painting, embroidery and needle punch, or needle felting projects. Historial reenactment customers love this fabric since little has changed in its production over the centuries.

🌸 WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- Hand wash in cold water (<30 ℃/ 86℉) with silk/mild detergent. DO NOT use strong alkali or disinfectant. |
- Line dry in the shade.
- Iron on the reverse side with a cool iron.
